Meet the Founder

I’m Tomer Hochma, founder of SaaS Pricing Consultants.

After two decades in strategy, finance, and sales, I watched too many SaaS companies undervalue their product and overcomplicate their pricing. Brilliant technology, capable teams, yet pricing that confused buyers and slowed growth.

Earlier in my career, I worked as an investment banker and later served as a VP of Sales, experiences that gave me a deep understanding of both the analytical and commercial sides of pricing. Having built and led two startups myself — one in SaaS and another in eCommerce — I’ve seen firsthand how pricing decisions can make or break momentum.

In 2017, I founded SaaS Pricing Consultants with one clear goal: to turn pricing into a strategic growth engine that drives clarity, confidence, and revenue acceleration.

From day one, the SaaS Pricing Consultants was built as a fully remote consultancy, allowing us to collaborate with SaaS companies across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and Asia-Pacific. This global setup gives us a cross-industry and cross-market perspective — a unique advantage when designing pricing strategies that scale across business models, buyer types, and geographies.

I hold a BA in Economics & Human Sciences, an MBA, and have completed advanced studies in behavioral economics — a field that deeply shapes how I approach pricing. Over the years, I’ve learned that pricing isn’t just about numbers; it’s about how people perceive value. The best pricing strategies balance analytics with psychology, logic with emotion.
